Ø Answer: – Maria Olatunji. I’m a Pastor at God’s Love Ministries Church, also an entrepreneur, and a life coach…
Should we address you as a gospel artiste or a minister?
Ø Answer: – A Minister, through Spirit inspired songs and reaching out to the unsaved.
Since when did you start your journey into gospel music?
Ø Answer: – Since I was a child, really. I have been part of a Church choir. I have always loved to reach out to God with songs of worship.
Having listened to your track, Holy Spirit, one can say you’re deep; give us an idea on how it was conceived?
Ø Answer: – I was going through a challenge at the time, The Holy Spirit gave me a strategy to apply and I had a breakthrough. I wrote this song to appreciate Him and to showcase His power to others that desire a change in their situation.
How do you come about your songs in general?
Ø Answer: – I write songs by the inspiration of the Holy Spirit, through fellowship with Him and constant meditating on the Word of God.
What are the things that inspire you readily?
Ø Answer: – The word of God Inspires me greatly and reaching out to people, both saved and those who are yet to have the joy of salvation.
If I may ask, are you one of those ministers that changed to sing in a church?
Ø Answer: – No
What’s your impression of those minstrels that changed to minister?
Ø Answer: – It’s their personal revelation.
Can you say boldly that you’re called into the ministry of affecting lives with songs or it’s just borne out of passion because you discovered your ability to sing?
Ø Answer: – For me reaching out with the gospel of Christ is a mandate, whatever means or avenue we use to effect changes in the lives of individuals and usher them to the plan and purpose of God for their lives. Be it through songs or the word of God, I am sold out to Christ.
Are there other minstrels you’d like to feature in your consequent releases or are you featuring on their projects?
Ø Answer: – Any willing gospel minister (passionate for God’s kingdom)
Your advice to other ministers of songs?
Ø Answer: – Keep on doing the good work and also press on to the mark of the high call of God in Christ Jesus, it is a labour of love and it shall surely be rewarded by God.
What are your projections as a vessel to honour in God’s hand and where do you expect to be in 5 years coming?
Ø Answer: – Touch more lives through music and expand God’s Kingdom by reaching more regions with God’s saving grace through my songs.
